Lukasz Brzezinski
Education lawyer for parents
I taught special education for six years before law school. Now I help parents get the services and fair treatment their children are owed.
I started my career in a resource room, writing IEPs and sitting through meetings where parents were handed a stack of paper and asked to sign. Too often they left without knowing what they’d agreed to.
I went to law school to be the person on the other side of that table. My practice is small on purpose: I take a limited number of families at a time, I read every page myself, and I answer my own phone.
Outside the office I coach a youth soccer team and spend too long at the farmers market on Saturdays.
What I help with

How I work with families
I represent parents, not schools or districts. I never meet with your child without you, and I don’t name or describe children on this site or anywhere else.
I’d rather settle a dispute with one clear letter than a long hearing, and most of the time that’s what happens. When it isn’t, I prepare thoroughly and tell you plainly what to expect.
